This perennial is common in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is probably the most showy / ornamental Sage I have grown. They grow quite easily in full sun to part shade in well drained soil. Hardy to Zone 5. Sow seeds in spring, no special treatment needed, but they can be rather slow to germinate.
